Cavalier Dog

Our 3-year-old Cavalier is looking for a new home. He’s a sweet boy who thinks he’s a farm dog and loves spending his days outside. He is used to free ranging around the property so will need a fully fenced section to keep him safe. He’s an outside dog and has never been inside, so he’s not house-trained—but with some patience, he could be if someone wanted to train him. At night, he sleeps comfortably in a crate.
He’s entire, needs a groom, and has loads of personality. Sadly, his mate has recently died and he’s been very lonely ever since.
He will need somebody who’s home most of the day or another dog for company. We’re only considering rehoming him because we want what’s best for him.
He is used to kids, but I don’t have anyone under five so not sure what he would be like with that age group. He is used to cows, a pony and does like to “play”with the cat. I imagine he would give chickens a bit of a hard time.

This isn’t a rushed sale, and if we don’t find the perfect home, he’ll stay with us.
