Bax was sighted on the side of the Southern motorway then tracked back to a bordering property with a hole in the fence. Our rescue mate wheedled and debated with the ‘owners’ until they agreed to surrender. He was so thin and full of worms, not to mention totally unsafe where he was!

Baxter has the most sweet and sassy personality despite the rough start, vocal, full of love and playfulness. In the last 6 weeks he's almost tripled his weight and while he's still got room to grow, he will be a medium size dog. He's great on a leash, decent recall, loves playing fetch and rough tumble playing with his giant foster brother. Baxter is being crate trained but still not overly loving it but settles quickly and sleeps well. Potty training is still in progress, going well. Very food driven and picking up commands well.

He likes cats, but will chase them to play so dog savvy cats are best. Bax will be a great family dog and be great with another dog sibling. Currently on a raw meat and biscuit blend diet.
