Jojo is a very loving, loyal female , 4yrs old, medium size Terrier mix breed (we don't know what Jojo is mixed with).

Good with cats: No small animals at all
Good with dogs: Some - older more placid dogs
Good with children under 10: Yes
Good with children over 10: Yes
Needs fencing at least: 1.5m high and solid.
Can be left alone during work hours: Not at first.

Jojo is a very affectionate girl towards her humans. She would love a home as an only pet or with one other older, placid dog. Jojo walks nicely on a lead and harness, is not leash reactive and has good basic obedience.

Jojo is very smart and has medium to high energy so would need a forever home where she can go on long walks and have mental stimulation every day. We believe she would excel at scent work.

Due to poor socialisation when she was a young pup, Jojo can misread play cues of other dogs. Jojo needs to be in a home where dog parks and other busy off leash areas are not part of the expectation.

Ellie’s Canine Rescue are based in the Greater Wellington region, depending on the dog we do adopt out of the Wellington region but request any potential owner meet us and the dog in person and if successful drive home with the dog. We do not ship dogs unmet. Undesexed dogs and puppies are not rehomed outside of the Greater Wellington Region.
