Meet Tawa, a beautiful 18-month-old Shar Pei/Huntaway mix who is looking for a new forever home. Unfortunately, due to a change in our circumstances, we are heartbroken to have to rehome this sweet and loyal girl since rescuing her at 6 weeks. Tawa has been an absolute joy to have around—affectionate, playful, and full of energy. She loves her walks, enjoys running in the yard, and will happily snuggle up on the couch when it's time to relax.
Tawa is desexed and in great health. She’s an intelligent, intuitive dog with a heart full of love to give. Her Shar Pei side gives her a charmingly wrinkled face, while her Huntaway heritage shines through in her alertness and her strong protective instincts. She gets along well with people although she does need a little time to warm up to new faces. Tawa would thrive in a home where she can receive plenty of attention and exercise and where she can form a deep bond with her new family.
